When I was this summer in Malta, I found a good diving center located in Paradise Bay Hotel in Cirkewwa (not far from Gozo). There are different diving programs at different prices. I've tried the one for 150 euro which included 6 accompanied dives. In general diving is great and the same is here. I recommend you to try it.
